My promise
Selling your business – in many cases your life’s work – is a big deal. It is an emotional, stressful and difficult process. I promise to not waste your time or drag you along, and to be an open, honest, transparent and responsive partner from beginning to end. If I think there is a good fit, I have a bias for action rather than nickel and diming anybody or fussing over small details.
Post acquisition, I’ll continue to treat your employees like family, because they will be: Bonsai is entirely funded with my own hard-earned savings, so my well being is 100% tied to theirs. Unlike other buyers, this also means I don’t answer to outside investors and won’t be forced to sell your business in the future for any reason.
I enter into any discussions with the belief that you’ve built something special and enduring, so my first priority is to listen and learn from you and your team rather than to dictate things “my way.”
What I look for:
$2 – 5M in Revenue
Bonsai is effectively a family business that acquires small family businesses.
Service Businesses
Areas of interest include plumbing, HVAC, electrical, landscaping, pest control and other service businesses.
Strong Reputation
I look for companies with a great reputation in their local community and a strong culture of customer service.
Personality Fit
I want to work with people that I like, who are passionate about what they do and who put their team first.
